Mixed bag

As is common in this business, we have had our fair share of very busy weeks and very slow weeks. Its just the nature of the beast. Some people refer to it as "feast or famine"; I've certainly experienced both sides of that coin. It sometimes has to do with pay cycles and sometimes its just seasonal highs and lows.

Well, its no different here at Greenbrier's finest little tattoo studio. Yesterday, my first day back to work after a very busy week, was a zero income day. My appointments had to reschedule. During those periods of famine...this would be a devastating blow; financially and mentally. Not so yesterday; I was ready for a break! And what did I do with my free time? Not a damn thing! It was nice to be able to sit back, relax and not have to get it done. Now, am I wishing for more of these kinds of days? Absolutely not! Every now and then sprinkled in like cinnamon is just fine; but, I don't want it to become habitual!

So, today I did an add-on for Devon; a Colt .45 near her hip bone. I unfortunately didn't take any pics but I will be able to get one soon...I'll keep you posted.

Computer stuff

My computer is finally back in service! It had somewhere around 70 malware virus programs and some sort of virus that corrupted my operating system! But, everything is finally back in working order; and faster than it has worked in a very long time! Bonus! Anyway, this week has been slower than last week but that's to be expected during nice weather...as soon as I do another interesting piece I'll let you know. Until then; Peace Out!

Tall Pine In Greenbrier

Thursday, 4 Mar 10
I was visited by the infamous, larger than life, Nashville Electric Service lineman nicknamed "Tall Pine" today. He visited the shop to have a tattoo of a lineman done before he heads to the Lineman Rodeo in Nebraska next month. He feels confident that this piece will win the tattoo contest! I hope he's right!
I really enjoyed this one and look forward to adding some background at a later date. He's thinking of a stormy sky and maybe some lightning or electric sparks zipping around his head! Should be fun!
